Pedestrian hit by vehicle in Sutton dies

A man has died after he was knocked down by a vehicle in Bedfordshire.
The pedestrian, who has not been named but is believed to be in his mid-20s, was struck as he walked along Church Road, Sutton, on 24 December.
Bedfordshire Police said he was taken to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage, where he later died.
Officers investigating the collision, which happened at about 2315 GMT, are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
