An Aberdeen doctor accused of downloading child pornography has claimed he shared his floppy disks with other hospital staff.

Douglas Harris, 29, denies taking, permitting to be taken or making indecent images, as well as being in possession of pictures.

Mr Harris told Aberdeen Sheriff Court that the sharing included him borrowing a disk to fill out an application form.

He has lodged special defences of incrimination and alibi.

The offences are alleged to have happened between 2004 and 2006.

The trial continues.
