A coastguard team rescued a dog that became stuck on a ledge after falling on the Great Orme at Llandudno in Conwy,

The one-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier called Bronson was walking with his owner when he took a 40ft (12m) tumble at Pigeon's Cove and landed about 40ft (12m) above the shore.

The site was said to awkward to reach but one of the rescuers used ropes to reach Bronson and put him into a "dog bag".

They were then lowered to the shore.

Coastguards were called in by police who had been alerted by Bronson's owner.
