Arrests after police seize cannabis and cocaine

Police have recovered drugs with an estimated street value of about £140,000 after searching a car in Lanarkshire and a house in Glasgow.
Officers seized £100,000 worth of herbal cannabis after stopping a vehicle on the M74 near Lesmahagow on Monday.
About a kilo of cocaine and a quantity of cash was recovered from a property in Rhindmuir Crescent, Bailleston.
Two men, aged 32 and 37, were arrested in connection with the seizures.
The pair were expected to appear at Lanark Sheriff Court.
A full report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
