Motorcyclist, 55, dies following road crash in Cornwall

A 55-year-old man has died after the motorbike he was riding was involved in a collision with a car in Cornwall.
The crash, which happened on Saturday on the A394 at Trevennen between Helston and Penryn, involved a Cagiva 996cc motorcycle and a Renault Clio.
Emergency services, including Cornwall Air Ambulance, were alerted shortly after 1000 BST and the injured man, who was local, was airlifted to hospital.
The road was shut for eight hours. Police are appealing for witnesses.
