Man arrested over Birmingham woman's murder

A 42-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a woman whose body was found at a Birmingham house.
The woman, thought to be in her 50s, is believed to have died from stab wounds to her stomach.
She was found at a house in the Erdington area of the city by a neighbour shortly after 1730 BST on Friday, West Midlands Police said.
The woman has not been formally identified and a post-mortem examination will be held later.
Anyone with information should contact West Midlands Police.
