Man injured in suspected assault at Penygroes

A 29-year-old man suffered serious head injuries in a suspected assault in a public car park in Penygroes, Gwynedd.
The incident is believed to have happened opposite Povey's garage on the evening of Sunday, 18 April, but was not initially reported to police.
Officers were informed the following evening after the victim became ill.
The injured man remains in hospital, where his condition is described as poorly but stable. North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses.
