Murder case as injured man in Newton Heath dies

A murder inquiry is under way and two men have been arrested after a man who was found with serious chest and head injuries in Greater Manchester died.
Police were called to Harold Priestnall Close, in Newton Heath, on Tuesday evening after a report a man was unconscious. He died later in hospital.
Two men, both aged 27, were arrested over the incident.
No details have been released about how the victim sustained his injuries but a gun was not used, police said.
