Teenager denies attack using car
Published: 22nd Mar 2010 14:24:24
A teenager has gone on trial accused of assaulting a man by driving a car at him in Aberdeen, leaving him seriously injured.
Maxi Haggerty, 19, denies running down Alfred Low after an argument at an 18th birthday party in 2008.
The start of the trial at Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard Mr Low suffered a brain injury and was now likely to need a wheelchair for the rest of his life.
Mr Haggerty faces an alternative charge of dangerous driving.
The trial continues.
