Girl, 3, killed in head-on crash in East Sussex

A three-year-old girl died after the car she was travelling in was involved in a head-on collision with a van in East Sussex.
The driver of the Fiat, a 58-year-old woman from St Leonards, and a boy aged three, suffered minor injuries in the crash on the A27 near Polegate.
The 47-year-old driver of the Citroen Dispatch van also received slight injuries in the crash at 1020 GMT.
All the casualties were taken to Eastbourne District General Hospital.
Sussex Police Police have appealed for witnesses to contact them.
