Published: 2nd Feb 2012 09:27:23
Cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £200,000 have been seized in Belfast.
A drugs "factory" was found by police at Garnerville Grove on Wednesday.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested. As well as the plants, police seized cultivating equipment and other paraphernalia.
PSNI chief inspector Mark McEwan said: "This discovery has taken large quantity of potentially dangerous drugs off our streets."
He added: "We remain totally committed to tackling the scourge of illegal drugs and we are working to disrupt the activities of those involved in their sale and supply, limit the amount of misery they are able to inflict on communities and ultimately by putting them behind bars."
