Former SAS soldier Ian Tuckley jailed for child sex attacks
Published: 9th Dec 2011 17:51:37
A former SAS soldier and an ex-paramedic have both been jailed for a series of sex attacks on children.
Ex-soldier Ian Tuckley, 32, from Farran Avenue, Credenhill, Hereford, was told at Worcester Crown Court that he would serve at least 12 years and six months.
Last month he was found guilty on 15 charges.
His brother-in-law Martin Finney, 40, from Lord Street, Walsall, West Midlands, has been jailed for 12 years for 17 offences, including rape.
Tuckley, a twice-divorced father of two, was a dog handler in the SAS and served in Iraq and Afghanistan.
He was found guilty of raping and assaulting a girl aged between six and nine between 2006 and 2009.
He was also convicted of six counts of rape and four counts of indecent assault involving another child between 1996 and 2007, when she was aged between four and 15.
Finney was found guilty of 17 offences against one of Tuckley's victims.
The 40-year-old was convicted of three counts of indecent assault and 12 of rape.
He was also found guilty of one count of administering Entonox gas with intent to engage in sexual activity.
Both were arrested in October last year after a complaint by one of the victims.
They were brought to trial following a joint investigation by West Midlands Police and West Mercia Police.
