The family of a student who was killed when he was struck by a car in Manchester have paid tribute to him.

Robert McCormick was struck by a car at the junction of Anson Road and Dennison Road in Longsight at about 03:10 GMT on Sunday.

Originally from Devon, the 21-year-old was studying economics in Manchester.
