Choppington house fire murder probe sees man arrested

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman's body was found in a burning house in Northumberland.
Firefighters were called to an address in Meadowbank Drive, Choppington, at around 15:00 GMT on Tuesday where the body of a 46-year-old woman was found.
Northumbria Police said a 49-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned.
A spokeswoman for the force said it was believed the man and woman knew each other.
