A murder inquiry is under way after the body of a 24-year-old woman was found at a house in Nottingham.

Police found the body of Leighann Wightman at a house in Norman Street in Netherfield at about 05:30 BST on Saturday.

Results of a post-mortem examination revealed the mother-of-one died from stab wounds.

Norman Street, Godfrey Street and Deabill Street were cordoned off to allow an examination of the property and surrounding area to take place.
