Man found dead in Wolverhampton house fire

A man has died following a house fire in Wolverhampton.
Fire and ambulance crews were called to a residential property in Castlecroft Road shortly before 04:00 BST.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "On arrival at the scene, crews found firefighters tackling the fire at the property.
"A man was found inside the house. It quickly became apparent that nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene."
