Man dies after Batley go-kart collision

A man has died after his go-kart crashed into a garden wall in Batley.
The 36-year-old local man, who has not yet been named, was taken to Dewsbury District Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The incident happened on Common Road, at 20:25 BST on Saturday. Police have not confirmed whether it was a powered go-kart.
Witnesses to the crash, or anyone with information about the incident, is asked to contact West Yorkshire Police.
