Man held over death of Hugh Porteous at Greenock flats

A man has been arrested in connection with the death of 49-year-old man at a flat in Greenock.
Hugh Porteous was found dead at the property in Neil Street in the town on Monday.
It is understood he suffered stab wounds. Two other men, aged 40 and 43, were seriously hurt in the incident.
A 38-year-old man has been detained and is expected to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
