N-Dubz have been dropped by their US record label.

Def Jam will no longer be representing the group - made up of Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer.

It is believed there have been a number of arguments between the three and bosses at the label.

Speaking to the Sun, Dappy said once people tried to change them, it was never going to work.

"If we had co-operated we would still be signed. But I stuck my finger up at them when they wanted us to make another Being N-Dubz TV show," he added.

Dappy went on to state that they are much more than just a "silly bunch of pop tarts" and he is annoyed the label has claimed they were dropped.

Tulisa reportedly still has a solo deal and will soon be seen on screens as a member of the new-look X Factor judging panel.

She will be joined by Take That's Gary Barlow, former Destiny's Child star Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh - the latter of which is the only original member of the line-up.
