Salford burglar death: Second charge over break-in

A second man has been charged after a break-in at a Salford house during which a burglar was stabbed to death.
John Bennell, 27, of Hyde, was stabbed in the chest at a house in Ethel Avenue, Pendlebury, on 22 June.
A 23-year-old man of Stretford, Greater Manchester is charged with aggravated burglary. He is due before Salford magistrates later.
Another 23-year-old man, of Hyde, was previously charged with aggravated burglary and possession of a knife.
A fourth man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and is being questioned by detectives.
A 59-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of murder has been bailed until 25 July.
A 27-year-old man and 21-year-old woman were released without charge after being arrested on suspicion of murder.
