Fourteen held after raids over drug dealing
Published: 23rd Jun 2011 12:08:50
Twelve men and two women have been arrested on suspicion of supplying class A drugs on Merseyside.
Thirteen properties in Kirkby and Anfield were raided and those arrested were aged 22 to 54.
Sixteen people were charged with drugs offences following raids in Knowsley and Liverpool last week.
Ch Supt Darren Martland, of Merseyside Police, said he hoped the raids showed officers had listened to concerns from local residents.
