GB boxer Nicola Adams says she is on the road to gold at the 2012 Olympics after leading a triple-medal haul at the European Union Championships.

Adams edged out home favourite Karolina Michalczuk of Poland, who beat her for world gold in Barbados last year.

Liverpool's Natasha Jonas also won gold in the 64kg division, while teenager Chantelle Cameron won bronze in her first senior international tournament.

"My confidence is as high as it could be," Adams said after winning gold.

"I'm feeling fantastic at the moment and now I've started to turn my silver medals into golds and beat fighters who I've lost to before.

"I've had a tough time getting this far because of my injuries, but working full-time in Sheffield as part of such a strong women's team is really paying off for all of us and I'm sure you'll see the benefits in London."

Teenager Cameron won bronze in her first senior international tournament, losing her semi-final to Ireland's world champion Katie Taylor 28-10.

Savannah Marshall reached the last eight at 75kg.
