Man charged with raping woman in Rochdale home

A man has been charged with raping a 35-year-old woman who was attacked by an intruder at her house in Greater Manchester while she was sleeping.
The incident happened at a house in Buersil, Rochdale, in the early hours of Saturday.
Greater Manchester Police have charged a 23-year-old man, of no fixed address, with rape and burglary.
A police spokesman said he was due before magistrates in Rochdale on Monday.
