Man injured in Bristol lorry collision dies

A pedestrian has died in hospital after he was struck by a lorry near a busy junction in Bristol.

The man, aged in his 20s, suffered a head injury in the collision at the Three Lamps junction near Temple Meads railway station on 20 May.

Avon and Somerset police said he was taken to Frenchay Hospital but died from his injuries on Wednesday.

The road was closed for several hours and officers are appealing for witnesses to the accident.
