Birkenhead murder victim dies from chest wound

A post-mortem examination carried out on a man who was attacked in a house in Birkenhead has found he died from a stab wound to the chest.
Peter Caine, 27, was discovered with multiple stab wounds on Market Street, Birkenhead, just after 0030 BST on Thursday.
He was taken to Arrowe Park Hospital, where he died.
A 28-year-old Merseyside man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is being questioned.
Mr Caine was originally from Cumbria but had been a resident in Merseyside for a number of years.
