Is Didier Drogba on his way to Tottenham?

Didier Drogba could extend his stay in the Premier League with Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp an admirer of his talents.

The Chelsea forward could be a casualty of a reshuffle among the club's attacking options in the summer, being the eldest striker at Stamford Bridge.

With Roman Abramovich splashing out £50 million on Fernando Torres, Salomon Kalou and Nicolas Anelka in form and Daniel Sturridge proving his Premier League credentials during a loan spell for Bolton Wanderers, Drogba could find himself surplus to requirements next season.

Should that be the case, Redknapp could be poised to swoop for the hitman after singing his praises in a recent interview with the Telegraph.

When asked if he would make a move for the striker, Redknapp replied: "It's difficult to say, [I] couldn't really say that, could I?

"He's a fantastic centre-forward – power, strength, he's got everything. He plays for Chelsea and until they decide otherwise, you can’t speculate about his future. But he's a good player."
