Pedestrian hit twice in Cheadle Hulme dies

A 67-year-old man has died after he was struck by two cars in Greater Manchester, police said.
Terry Rowney, from Cheadle Hulme, suffered serious head injuries and died on Wednesday in Salford Royal Hospital.
He was injured at about 16:50 GMT on Tuesday while crossing Adswood Road, Cheadle Hulme, near the Larkhill Road junction.
Mr Rowney was struck by a Renault Megane, then moments later was hit by a second car, police said.
Greater Manchester Police are trying to trace any next of kin.
