Published: 18th Apr 2011 19:19:42
A man has been charged with raping a 16-year-old boy in Greater Manchester.
Police were called to a dirt track off Springmill Walk, Rochdale, at about 2130 BST on Friday, following reports a teenager had been raped.
A 28-year-old local man was later charged with rape and was due before Rochdale Magistrates on Monday.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who saw a distressed white teenager in the Halifax Road or Springmill Walk areas between 2100 and 2200 BST on Friday.
It is believed he may have been trying to flag cars down in the area.
Anyone with information is being urged to contact police or Crimestoppers.
