M62 fall probe after man found injured
Published: 20th Aug 2012 09:37:17
Police are investigating whether a man found with head injuries in a railway station car park might have fallen from the M62 motorway above.
The 23-year-old from Huyton was found critically injured at about 8:30 BST on Sunday at Broad Green Station.
Merseyside Police said he was taken to Walton Neorological Centre with serious head injuries.
Officers have appealed to motorists who may have seen a man on the motorway above the station to come forward.
Police believe the injured man had been out drinking in the city centre earlier in the evening.
He was last seen by his friends in The Revolution Bar on Fleet Street when he left his friends to go home shortly after midnight.
