Carole Waugh murder: Woman bailed
Published: 11th Aug 2012 12:14:36
A 61-year-old woman arrested in connection with the murder of businesswoman Carole Waugh has been bailed.
A post-mortem examination found Miss Waugh, 50, of Marylebone, central London, died from a stab wound.
The arrested woman, from Woodford Green, was held on suspicion of conspiracy to defraud on Friday.
Scotland Yard said she has been bailed to return on a date in September pending further inquiries.
Miss Waugh's body was found in a blue VW Golf at a lock-up garage in New Malden, south-west London, on 2 August.
Police said Miss Waugh, who is originally from Durham, had been dead "for some time". Her family reported her missing on 7 May.
On Thursday, Rakesh Bhayani, 40, from Wembley, north-west London, was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was released on bail until mid August, police said.
On 6 August, Nicholas David Kutner, 47, appeared in court accused of fraudulently attempting to let Miss Waugh's flat by pretending to be her brother.
Mr Kutner was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court on 13 August.
Eleven people have so far been arrested in connection with her death.
