'Serious' crash sees Dumfries and Galloway road closed

One person has suffered serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Dumfries and Galloway.
The incident happened on the A75 Stranraer to Gretna Road, two miles west of Creetown, in the early hours of the morning.
The road has been closed in both directions, and Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary warned the route would stay shut "for some time".
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and diversions are in place.
