Police investigating the murder of a woman who was stabbed to death in a taxi in Birmingham have arrested a man.
The 22-year-old victim, who has not been named, died after being stabbed shortly before 08:00 BST, in Northfield.
She is believed to have been in a relationship with her attacker, detectives said.
They said the 28-year-old man was found in the garden of a house on Allens Farm just after 18:00 BST.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, at the junction of Dimsdale Road and Hoggs Lane.
Police said the taxi driver alerted the emergency services.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said the woman had suffered multiple stab wounds.
A post-mortem examination is due to take place on Wednesday.
Dimsdale Road, Hoggs Lane and Norrington Road have been closed while emergency services work at the scene.
Forensic investigators are scouring the surrounding area, including nearby front gardens.
