A man and a woman have been arrested over an allegation of theft during an Olympic women's football match in Greater Manchester.
The woman "purporting to be an accredited photographer" was arrested on suspicion of theft at Old Trafford on Monday evening.
The man, who was an accredited photographer, was arrested on the same charge during the second half of the match between USA and Canada.
Both remain in police custody.
A police spokesman said officers believed the pair had entered the ground together and that inquiries were ongoing.
On the pitch, the United States team beat their North American rivals 4-3, with the winning goal coming in the last minute of extra time.
