Man rescued from River Neath near Briton Ferry bridge

A man has been airlifted to hospital after being rescued from the River Neath, the Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service confirmed.
He was pulled from the river by an RNLI rescue boat after being spotted near Briton Ferry bridge, near Swansea, at 08:39 BST on Tuesday.
The man was flown by Sea King helicopter to Morriston Hospital. His condition is not known.
South Wales Police, Swansea Coastguard and the RNLI all attended.
