Man injured after A8 road row in Renfrewshire dies
Published: 29th Jul 2012 16:37:19
A man who was involved in an altercation following a road accident in Renfrewshire three weeks ago has died in hospital.
Police have appealed for witnesses to an incident between the 54-year-old and the driver of a white Ford Transit van.
It happened on the A8 near to Langbank at 14:00 on 7 July.
The man was treated for minor injuries at the time but was then readmitted to hospital earlier this week and later died.
A post mortem examination was due to be carried out.
Police said the man was driving a black Ford Mondeo westbound on the A8 when he became involved in an altercation with the van driver.
Both vehicles stopped on the A8 and the Mondeo driver got out of his car to speak with the other driver.
Anyone with information was urged to contact officers.
