Published: 24th Jul 2012 21:35:07
A 15-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital with a head injury after being hit by a falling rock while walking on Snowdon, say rescue services.
The incident happened on Tuesday while she was walking on the Watkin Path.
The Llanberis mountain rescue team was called out to aid the teenager.
She was then winched aboard an RAF Sea King helicopter from Valley, Anglesey, and flown to Ysbyty Gwynedd hospital in Bangor.
