Warrington man questioned over wife's death
Published: 20th Jul 2012 17:14:36
A man being questioned over the murder of a Warrington woman, whose body was found in a car boot, was married to the victim, police say.
The 57-year-old man, also from Warrington, walked into a North Wales police station at St Asaph, Denbighshire, on Wednesday.
A post-mortem examination revealed his wife sustained multiple injuries.
Four locations in Warrington have been searched in a joint investigation by North Wales and Cheshire Police.
North Wales Police said the family had been informed and was being supported by specially trained officers.
The man remains in custody in St Asaph.
