Man, 43, dies after Greenan Castle fall

A 43-year-old man has died after apparently falling from a castle near Ayr.
A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said officers were called to Greenan Castle at about 17:20.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is being treated as a tragic accident.
Greenan Castle is a 17th century tower house which sits at the summit of a vertical cliff leading down to the beach.
