Oldham robbery suspect evades police at Manchester Airport
Published: 9th Jul 2012 21:01:42
A suspected armed robber is on the run after evading police who were waiting for him at Manchester Airport when he flew in from Amsterdam.
Police wanted to speak to Anthony Morrison, 32, earlier over a robbery in Oldham in December 2011.
The man gained entry to a secure baggage area of Terminal 3 and then left the airport undetected, Greater Manchester Police said.
Officers are now searching for the man and investigating how he escaped.
He was aware police were waiting for him, officers confirmed.
