Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol is to close for repairs
Published: 30th Jun 2012 15:52:05
Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol will be shut on Sunday while essential repairs and inspections are carried out.
The bridge will be closed to vehicles from 07:30 BST but one footway will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists to use.
The work was scheduled for last week but had to be postponed because of bad weather.
It is hoped the bridge will re-open before midnight on Sunday.
