Woman injured after car hits cow in Cambusbarron

A 35-year-old woman was seriously injured after her car hit a cow on a road in the Stirling area.
The woman, who has not been named, was taken to Forth Valley Hospital following the collision on the A811 Stirling to Dumbarton Road in Cambusbarron at about 23:45 on Friday.
Her condition was described as life-threatening.
The road was closed for about three hours to allow initial investigations to be carried out.
Central Scotland Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward.
