A woman is in a critical condition in hospital after being trapped under a bus that had hit her in Manchester.
The woman, 84, suffered serious injuries to her right leg and an injury to her head in the accident at Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre at about 15:00 BST, police said.
Fire crews used two 10-tonne air bags to lift the bus off her.
