Two men questioned over West Derby shooting

Two men are being questioned over a shooting in Liverpool.
Police were called to reports that shots had been heard in Snowberry Road in West Derby at about 17:15 BST.
A 24-year-old from West Derby and a 19-year-old from Kirkby were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
A short time later an ambulance was called to a nearby house and an 18-year-old man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be gunshot wounds.
His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police are at the scene and a cordon has been put in place while forensic examinations take place.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
