Thousands of jobs and homes planned in Aston, Newtown and Lozells

Some 5,000 jobs and 1,700 homes could be created in an area of Birmingham under plans by the city council.
The proposals for Aston, Newtown and Lozells include a business park as well as a hotel near Salford Lake together with improvements to the A34.
The business park alone would create around 3,000 jobs with the homes built in Newtown and Birchfield.
The plans will be considered by the Labour-led authority's cabinet meeting on Monday.
Tahir Ali, cabinet member for development, jobs and skills, said the project would create "a real sense of identity".
