One man dead after crane collapses in central Glasgow

A man has died and another has been seriously injured after a crane collapsed in central Glasgow.
Emergency services were called to reports of an industrial accident at Buchanan House, in Port Dundas Road, at about 12:25 on Wednesday.
The Scottish Ambulance Service said one man was confirmed dead at the scene. Another is being treated for a head injury at the nearby Royal Infirmary.
Staff have been evacuated from Buchanan House as a precaution.
The building, which houses offices for Network Rail and Transport Scotland, has been undergoing refurbishment work.
Police, fire and ambulance personnel are still working at the scene.
