Man arrested after Clydebank road death

A 53-year-old man has been arrested following a road death in Clydebank in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 30-year-old man was struck by a car in Milton Douglas Road near to Mallard Road at about 03:45. He was treated by paramedics at the scene but died shortly afterwards.
A statement from Strathclyde Police said a man had been arrested and was in police custody.
It added that a full report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
