Man charged with murder of Bolton woman

A 37-year-old man has been charged with murder after the body of a woman was found by police at a house in Bolton.
The victim, 58, was found dead at Park Terrace, Sharples on Sunday afternoon, by officers called to the scene.
A post-mortem examination showed she died due to compression of the neck, possibly through strangulation. The woman has not been formally identified.
Paul Stones, of Park Terrace, Sharples, is due to appear before Bolton Magistrates' Court.
