Tribute paid to cyclist killed in Trafford lorry crash
Published: 11th Jun 2012 15:25:42
The family of a teenager, who was killed when her bike was in collision with a lorry in Manchester, has said she "will be missed every day".
The incident happened on an access road within the grounds of the Trafford Centre shopping complex shortly before 17:00 BST on Saturday.
Georgia Ellen Flynn, 18, from Flixton, was taken to hospital, but later died from her injuries.
Her family said she was "beautiful inside and outside".
"You enriched all of our lives with your intelligence and humour," they said. "We are extremely proud of you and there are no words to explain how much you will be missed every day.
"Our lives will never be the same without you.
"Thank you to all involved in trying to save Georgia at the roadside, emergency services and hospital staff.
"Thank you also for all the heartfelt tributes made to our amazing Georgia."
