Police have closed roads near a city centre coach station while officers speak to a man near the edge of a multi-storey car park.

Officers were called to Digbeth Coach Station in Birmingham at about 11:30 BST when a man was seen on the upper floor of Moat Lane car park.

Moat Lane has been closed at the junction with Bradford Street.

Police advised people to avoid the area "whilst officers attempt to bring the incident to a safe conclusion".

Traffic is being diverted along other roads in the area.
