Three killed when car hits tree near Pershore in Worcestershire

Three people have died and a man is in a critical condition in hospital after a car crash in Worcestershire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said a car collided with a tree on the B4084 in Wick, Pershore, at 00:45 BST.
A spokesman said the male driver and a woman died at the scene. Another woman was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died shortly afterwards.
West Mercia Police said it happened near Pershore College. All four people are thought to be in their 20s.
A second man was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham and is said to be in a critical condition.
The spokesman said he had been trapped in the car for more than 90 minutes and suffered multiple injuries.
Police said they were appealing for witnesses and those who have died are yet to be identified.
